Sukhvasa Villas is a private luxury villa rental in Shimla. The engagement started as a UX and SEO audit of sukhvasavillas.com — and by the time we were done, it had become a full website rebuild and a custom booking CMS built specifically around how a five-bedroom villa rental actually runs.
Where it started: the audit
The original site was carrying real problems: the Contact and Reservation pages — the two pages most likely to convert a visitor — still displayed the title, meta description, and Open Graph tags of a completely different, unrelated property. The bare domain served a full duplicate of the homepage instead of redirecting, with no canonical tags anywhere to tell Google which version to index. The villa was described as both a 5-bedroom and a 6-bedroom property depending which page — and sometimes which sentence — you read. The phone number was unlinked plain text sitewide, and the WhatsApp link on the Contact page pointed to nothing.

The rebuilt Contact page — real tel: and WhatsApp links, one consistent brand, no leftover template copy.
What it became: a full website and booking CMS
Rather than patch the existing template, we rebuilt the site and paired it with a custom admin panel built around the villa's actual operations, not a generic page editor:
- Rooms & rate plans. Every bedroom — photos, bed configuration, outlook, bathroom, floor, description — managed as its own record, so the bedroom count is now stated once and quoted consistently everywhere it appears. Rate plans are versioned rather than overwritten, so a season's price can change without losing the record of what earlier guests were quoted.
- A live availability calendar. A month-grid calendar blocks dates for maintenance or existing bookings, and that same data drives both the date picker on the Contact form and the read-only availability preview on the homepage — so the site can never show a date as open that the owner has already blocked.
- An enquiries inbox. Every Contact form submission lands in a booking inbox with guest details, requested dates, and party size, moves through a new → contacted → confirmed pipeline, and triggers an email alert automatically — replacing an inbox of unsorted emails with an actual lead pipeline.
- Reviews with an honest rating badge. A site-wide star rating only appears once a real numeric score exists on at least one published review — a deliberate choice so the site never implies a rating it can't back up.
- Structured data and FAQs built from the same records. LodgingBusiness schema, room pricing, and FAQPage markup are generated from the same content an owner already edits — nothing extra to fill in twice, and nothing for search engines to read that the page itself doesn't say.
- Self-service content, end to end. Every page's heading, banner text, and SEO listing is editable from the admin panel. The owner can now correct a typo, swap a photo, or add a room without needing a developer — the entire point of the rebuild.

The Location page — distance and drive time to landmarks, managed as its own content type.

Amenities, grouped and reordered from the admin panel — shared automatically with the Terms page's house-rules list.
The result
One consistent brand across every page, a phone number and WhatsApp link that actually work on mobile, a single canonical domain, structured data that matches what's actually on the page, and a content system the owner runs without ever opening a code editor.
